Clinical Supervision & Consultation

Psychodynamic Supervisor | Washington & PSYPACT

I provide clinical supervision for doctoral and master’s level trainees, pre-licensed clinicians, and early-career professionals seeking to develop clinical competence, strengthen case conceptualization, and build a clear professional identity.

Since 1996, I have supervised clinicians across correctional, academic, research, and community mental health settings, including extensive experience within the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Supervision is developmental, psychodynamic, and reflective in nature. The focus is on deepening clinical understanding, exploring relational dynamics in the therapy process, and strengthening the ability to integrate theory into practice.

This is a supportive and structured space where clinicians can safely explore clinical challenges, ethical questions, countertransference, and areas for professional growth while developing confidence and clarity in their clinical work.

I provide consultation and training to individuals, clinicians, graduate students, and organizations across a range of mental health settings.

Areas of expertise include suicide and suicide prevention, serious mental illness, trauma, crisis intervention, de-escalation strategies, personality disorders, grief and loss, and correctional and forensic mental health.

In addition to organizational consultation, I work with graduate students and early-career professionals seeking support with application materials, interview preparation, and professional development. I also provide academic mentorship related to clinical training, comprehensive examinations, and dissertation or thesis completion.

My consultation approach is collaborative and strengths-based, focused on enhancing clinical effectiveness, professional confidence, and organizational capacity.

Whether you are seeking supervision, consultation, or training, my goal is to provide a grounded, supportive, and thoughtful space for professional growth. I welcome the opportunity to connect and explore whether we are a good fit for working together.
